Day 2

ell today dawned as a much better day, with no rain in sign. I have decided that while the Hay Plains rates up there with the boaring rides, it is definitely a must do for those who like to tour on a motorcyle. Just amazing. I calculated that the trucks were coming into view 10 km before we passed them. Just amazing. Made it into South Australia just after lunch, and while the quarantine guys believed me that I was not carrying fruit, the insisted on checking the traler so Kerry was held up for a while.

Now siting back having enjoyed bbq dinner and some of the local brew. I think I could get use to Coopers Beer.

Day 1

Well today started off pretty uneventful bright sunshine and nice and warm. Basically a perfect day for riding. As we got to Wagga clouds started to develop and not long after the weather deteriorated and before long is starteds raining. By the time we got past Nerrandera the weather deteriorated andq we were heading into a thunder storm. Quite scarey when you are the only thing on a wide open space. e arrived in Hay to find that there was a severe thunderstoem warning. The locals think the rain is great but we have other ideas. Hopefuly it will clear by tomorrow.

Oh well we made the best of it and retired to the pub for a quiet drink and dinner.
